19.05.12 “Young Guns Series 2012″ – dates and locations here!

The annual UKSA “Young Guns” event is on the rise this year, moving to its new home of The XC in Hemel Hempstead and taking in two prelims in Scotland and Wales, giving even more budding sponsorless skaters out there more of a chance to get involved! The dates and locations are as follows… 10th June – Exist Skatepark, Swansea. 12th July – Transgression Skatepark, Edinburgh. 22nd July – FINAL – The XC, Hemel Hempstead. As with previous years, this comp is solely for unsponsored skaters aged both under 16 and 16 and over, so if you fit that description and fancy entering, make sure to get yourself along and join in the proceedings! There are plenty of prizes up for grabs from a wide variety of companies with the winner from each category in the finals will earn themselves a “wild card” entry into this years UK Champs.

R1 Free Skate Day in association with DC - The Edits.

On Monday the 2nd of April we held a free skate session with Route one and DC, which was held at 7 other parks nationwide. Everyone filmed an edit for an online video competition, the prize being £1000.00 towards the maintenance of the skate park, as we are starting the expansion after Easter it would be a great help if you could vote for our edit when it gets uploaded,
All you have to do is visit the Route one facebook page and VOTE for Exist. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
